Chrysler Radar Detectors

2006 Chrysler 300M Fusebox Question?

Q: Ok, So, I hardwired my radar detector to the front fusebox under the hood through the firewall. I'm looking for a mix that is auxiliary only. I don't want a fuse that is "hot" all the time. Which fuse then would be the safest to hardwire

A: Try wiring your radar detector to the power loophole. That fuse is switchable from hot all the time to hot with the ignition on. By the way, if it is a 2006 then it is a 300, 300 Touring, or 300C. No 300M's after 2004.
